2005 Marquis Philips Sarah's Blend

2005 was an amazing vintage and at the time of release my notes on this wine read:  Color is intense. Explosive aromas with Blueberry and boysenberry flavours, and dense dark chocolate, liquorice, spice, creamy developed characters and overwhelmingly mouth filling.  This wine still has youth and vibrancy.  It is my feeling that this is a result not only of the great 2005 vintage with rendered intensity and balance but the screw cap seal additionally enhanced the longevity and freshness of this wine.  Try an aged Sarah's Blend in cork with a 2005 in screw cap and see what you think.

60% Shiraz, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, and 3% Cabernet Franc.
